WBNC-AM 1050 Conway

Can anyone put to rest a rumor I heard about WBNC/1050
in Conway being silenced? Perhaps Cooper Fox might be
able to answer this? Someone about a month or so ago
told me it was off the air one day while driving
through Mount Washington Valley. I figured maybe
transmitter issues.
