That's why I began the post with the words "I believe";
I picked up this information not from primary sources
like Florida newspapers, but from magazine articles
and papers like the Wall Street Journal.  So indeed you
could be right.  But at least the  THREAT of a service
tax existed, and the advertising industry there DID
put pressure on Tallahassee(sp?).
