As a fan of Cool Edit, I agree it WAS a great program.  However, since Adobe bought Syntrillium in May of 2003, it now Adobe Audition. As a user entitled to a free upgrade, my son downloaded it, installed it and it immediately erased all the presets he had so carefully created over the years.
