Sox have compiled yet another list to be in the 2004 media guide. ( and
Donna your name in credits )

What they going with now is
First game 1925 WNAC Ben Alexander and Charles Donelan
1927 WNAC Gerry Harrison and Fred Hoey

1930 they say John Shepard did the Sox games himself and Hoey did the
Braves and both were carried by either the Yankee or Colonial Network.

First sponsors Kentucky Club pipe tobacco and Flying Red Horse gasoline
(now Mobil)

First TV was 1948 with Jim Britt and Tom Hussey on both 4 and 7 Bump
Hadley on 4 and Leo Smith on 7. Of note, it mentions Fred Cusick doing
Braves radio when there was a conflict.
(Has anyone in Boston worked more years than Fred?)

My surprise here is Sheppard being listed as an announcer in 1930.
