93.5 WCTB Fairfield, which used to be my favorite radio station when it was
classic country, finally has a new format.  The station played Christmas
music from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day.  During January, the station
stunted with a mix of everything from country to oldies to pop to rock.  Now
the station is Classic Rock calling itself Central Maine's Classics the
River 93.5.

WLBZ-TV anchor Rick Tyler is leaving the station.  He was offered a new
contract to work as a reporter and turned it down and will work with his
wife in her p.r. business.
