Been sick all week and just catching up on e-mails.  ACN referred to 
Atlantic Coast Network, which was actually run by the soon to be 
discredited Harold LaFount of WNEW in NY.  (LaFount would have FCC 
problems...)  In 1942, WNEW shared certain transcribed programs with its 5 
affiliates, from what I can gather.
