While I was checking on AM 1150 to see if thr switch to
English talk had occurred (someone at radio-info.com/Boston
said the change was imminent). I heard a number of English-language
commercials, sometimes two-in-a-row. If I recall correctly
they were often automobile/auto dealer spots and advertising
for upcoming shows on broadcast or cable TV. What does it
say to the listener to a Spanish-language station that the
advertiser didn't bother to produce an Espagnol version,
even though most listeners probably are bi-lingual.
