i've noticed it on 'TKK especially. in the previous incarnation of 96.9 as a 
music station, the signal was listenable up to almost Exit 2 in York along the 
Maine pike.  now, as a talker, the reception goes south just north of 495 in MA.

technical issues notwithstanding, attempted levity inserted here:

maybe it's to allow perceived two-faced talk hosts to talk out of both sides at 
the same time, or to be simultaneously intepreted as both left- and right-
leaning?  ;-)

and how does one re-light the stereo pilot if a good, stiff wind (like Rush or 
someone) blows it out? ;-)
