Talk radio is indeed male dominated; exceptions being
Laura Ingraham (who does her national show from
Boston tomorrow night) and Margery Eagan. Stephanie
Miller did a great show a few years back (great
sense of humor, and it did feature a lot of issue-
oriented talk) and, in the past, there were
women ranging from Marjorie Clapprood to
Jeanine Graf on the air.

Am surprised there isn't a move to put more
female talkers on. But WRKO's Mike Elder is quoted
in the Globe article as saying, "I have found that
women don't always want to listen to women".
So I guess he solved that by getting rid of the
last two female hosts on 'RKO, eh?
