Teacher cited for use of pyrotechnic device in school musical

This is off topic, but I thought people would find it interesting due to the
discussion here about the club fire in Rhode Island:

A Maine High School physics teacher whose homemade indoor pyrotechnic device
was used in a school musical is in hot water with the law for failing to
obtain a fireworks display permit.  If convicted, he could be fined and
jailed for up to 364 days.
