It does assert that "clear channel" is everybody's term and not a
trademark.   Maybe they're hoping that people will drive around town,
see the billboards labelled "Clear Channel" and think of BZ.

96.9 is letting other stations' letters be uttered on the air freely, at
least today in honor of the Dean's passing.   It wouldn't be possible to
tell stories about him otherwise.
