I Watch Bill Moyers' "Now" So You Don't Have To

I watched last night's "Now" with Bill Moyers (Fri. 04/04) figuring it
would be straight War news...but the first half-hour was about the media,
and one segment was pure media-consolidation. If you want to catch it
(and it covered such recent issues as the train derailment in Minot, ND
about which no information was broadcast because all the CCU stations
were automated, right up the current FCC travelling road show on relaxing
media ownership rules even further), there will be repeats on Boston and NH
stations: WGBX-TV 44 has it at 11:00 am Sunday, and NHPTV usually
reruns "Now" Sundays at 6:00. The opening segment is an interview with
an official from "Editor and Publisher" about print media; then it goes to
the radio-TV segment immediately thereafter, with some emphasis on
CCU. There is video of former President Clinton signing the
Communications Act...Jibguy, I mean Bob@wjib740 HATES that!
For Maine, Western Mass, CT or even NY state PBS reruns check your local
listings.
