I don't know what MePBN is doing, but WBUR is pre-empting some NPR
shows with the BBC...they also carry PRI programming.  It wouldn't
be utterly out of the question for them to carry a Pacifica show
if one came along that they thought was worthwhile.  Any other
NPR-affiliated station on the LEFT side of the dial (do modern radios even
have left- or right- sides any more?) could do the same...AND provide local 
coverage too.
