Is Sporting News Radio dead?

All Access reports today that WSNR (620 Newark) has dropped Sporting News
Radio programming from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., apparently seven days per week. If
they are tanking in their flagship market (where they had a three- or
four-year head start on ESPN 1050), I wonder how much longer we'll see The
Zone kicking around? (Of course, not having a third all-sports station
around here and Eddie Andleman helping to bring in some ad dollars might be
a tad helpful.) Since losing the Islanders, WSNR hasn't been doing anything
of consequence, really, other than airing some Monday Night Football games
that WFAN couldn't clear because it had a Knicks, Rangers or Mets game.

Haven't listened to the WEEI vs. WWZN talk-war battle lately..who's sounding
better?
