The caller played to the host's ego and the host allowed the conversation to 
continue.  If it is true, yank the doctor's license NOW.  any physician who'd 
deny treatment based upon a patient's radio listening habits does not belong in 
the medical profession.
although, as a broadcast professional, i've denied musical requests due to the 
abhorent nature of the requested song... like "Billy, Don't Be A Hero" 
or "Seasons in the Sun."  ;-)
