I know it's popular here to blame Republicans for everything, but do you
have any facts to back up this statement?  Did Republicans cut the FCC
budget below the level proposed by President Clinton?  It was a Democrat
President who signed the Telecom Act of 1996, which had bi-partisan support
and there were a number of Democrats who played a big role in putting
together that act.  And liberals favorite Republican John McCain was Chair
of the Committee!
