80th Anniversary of radio in the Whitehouse

According to NPR's Weekend Edition broadcast of 2/8/03,
Saturday marked the 80th anniversary of the very first radio
receiver being installed at the Whitehouse.

This occurred during the Presidential term of Warren G. Harding.
I dare say the above is just about the only thing of historical significance
that ever occurred during the Harding administration.

Maybe a radio historian like Donna can weigh in further on this.
