January is Amnesty Month?

Anybody notice the ads on WBZ for amnesty plans.  
So far, we've heard from:

Software Alliance ("up to $150,000 for each infringement")
Mass DOR - "...search multiple databases...","...Criminal Charges..."

and today, Mayor Menino was quoted as investigating the
possibility of a "parking ticket/taxes-owed" amnesty plan.


Let's see:  If there's amnesty, weight loss plans & debt consolidation
ads on radio, it must be January!
