Herald article on DJs paid to promote diet product
For some reason I couldn't find the story on their
website, but the front page of today's Herald has an
article on how hundreds of air personalities across
the country, including WBZ's Paul Sullivan and WAAF's
Lyndon Byers, were paid to promote a weight loss
product called Body Solutions; the FTC says that the
manufacturer can't provide conclusive evidence that it
can make you lose weight. The article also said that
the manufacturer of the product has had its assets
frozen.
Until the story shows up online (if it ever does) you
might have to shell out half a buck to read it...
Headline says: "Feds: Fat Chance Diet Product Worked
for DJs" and it's, again, right on the front page of
the print edition. (Our own Auntie Donna is quoted in
the final paragraph).
