Agreed. That's why we should leave arts funding and
spending on public discourse to the private sector.

If they want it: let them pay for it! Does anyone
have any doubt that the median income of NPR listeners
is higher than the median income in the country? I'm
sure that's what they tell their underwriters. SO we
are taxing working class people to provide high brow
entertainment to people who could afford to pay for
the service. Take from the poor and give to the rich.

Do you really think they would disappear if the public
subsidy was eliminated?
