And those are all essential services that are not
provided by the public sector.  It is a much different
thing to use tax money to provide what is essentially
an entertainment vehicle with news content that some
say favors one political philosophy.

I'm a Republican, but I don't find NPR news any more
biased than the rest of the media.  I find their story
selection a little weird -- they see they main
audience as liberal city folks -- but I find myself
angered by NPR much less than I am by CNN or CBS.  The
TV networks are biased and stupid.  NPR is at least
intelligent.
