Fwd: Rukeyser's ouster leads to Maryland Public TV cutbacks
I've watched it a few tiimes and it appears it's still on
the "shakedown" portion of its run. The male (Colvin?)
is very smooth for a print guy. The lady (damn I forget
her name) has a minor Baba Wawa speech impediment but
so far it doesn't appear she's being allowed to interview
the featured guest.

Due in part to a lack of corporate underwriters for the revamped "Wall Street
Week" Maryland Public Television has laid off 14% of staff, slashes salaries and
cut local programming:

Meanwhile, PBS officials deny MPT's assertion that they had to fire Rukeyser in
order to keep "WSW" on the national schedule come fall:

Take care,
