RE: College radio talent
Umm, Tufts has an engineering school and has had for
decades--if not for a century. I know a couple of EEs
with degrees from Tufts--and they are _damned fine_
engineers. One is Brad Robbins, who is VP of Engineering
at Teradyne in Boston. The other is Gary Patrick, who
worked for me at what was then HP in Waltham. Moreover,
within the last decade or so, centimillionaire (at
least) Bernie Gordon, founder and CEO of Analogic Corp
in Peabody, donated Gordon Institute to Tufts. Gordon
Institute is the graduate school of engineering that
Bernie founded (and named for himself--no shrinking
violet he).
