Art Kevin (a disc jockey who became a radio newsman) who broadcast (live to the RKO network stations) the fatal shooting of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 has died at the age of 67 of lung cancer. He was a leading news figure at KHJ-AM and KMPC-AM, in the 60s and '70s. Like many newsmen of his generation, he had been a heavy smoker.
