RE: O&A gone



The fear of an FCC fine is nothing compared to the public and advertiser
backlash that would happen to any station that would pick them up.  At
Viacom/CBS/Infinity, I think it came down to Sumner Redstone not wanting
to be associated with that trash.  They finally found out where that
elusive line is...unfortunately for them it was after they crossed it.

Yeah, but after Boston, they got an even better job in New York.  The 
fear of a good stiff fine from the FCC is all that will prevent a
station 
from hiring them again.
