Most run on either Win2K, NT or DOS.  All very stable operating systems.

And live operators never screw up?  Board-opping satellite programming is 
really boring, anyone with half a brain is gonna go nuts in a short time.

In a related vein, Roger Kirk told me a story once how there was a song 
that skipped when it was carted at WRKO back in the late 60s/early 70s.  It 
went several years before anyone either noticed or bothered to do anything 
about it..and this was with a separate jock and board op!
