To make a long story short the city owns the ballpark, Weber was going to
float a
multi-million dollar loan to add more seats but the city said it wanted a
new lease for more $. Weber said fine, he'd renegotiate but has
withdrawn his offer to pay for more seats and is focusing on getting a
Double A franchise in Manchester. City officials are now upset that he
wants the Double A in Manchester and not Lowell.
