It's always nice to hear of a station returning to its classic callsign.  
I remember, back in the early 60s, hearing WOTW-FM from my home in 
Bedford, Mass.  The FM signed off with the AM in those days -- apparently 
they didn't feel there was a large enough FM audience to sell advertizing 
to keep the station on later.

I once heard them accidentally do separate programming for a short time.  
It seems that one time, as they came back from a record, the DJ directly 
addressed the FM listeners, saying that the AM was off the air because of 
a bad tube in the transmitter.  I mentioned this on my first appearance 
on LTAR, and Scott Fybush remarked that I might have been the only 
listener at that time.
