Wonderful Out of This World News: HeritageCalls Return (OK Negative Heritage)

The AM station operating on 900 khz in Nashua, NH has begun using the call
letters WOTW as of today (08/06); it's possible they were used some time
yesterday but as of 9:00 am they were still WMVU on Monday. This
means that the Merimack Valley, from Konkud, New Hampshah to Newburyport,
Mass boasts call letters that go back to the day their stations signed on:
WKXL, Konkud, NH
WKBR and WFEA, Manchestah, NH (WGIR used to be WMUR)
*WOTW, Nashua, NH
WCAP and WLLH, Lowell, MA
WCCM and WLLH, Lawrence, MA
WHAV, Haverhill, MA
and WNBP, Newburyport, MA.
Maybe the Merrimack Valley can become a Museum of Original Call Letters!
*The announcement of call letters for WOTW is now done by a solo announcer
with little enthusiasm. It appears that that the Nashua Marching Band
and Glee club has lost the WMVU Jingle Gig  wherein they called Nashua "Nashwah";
maybe they're in the recording studio right now doing the WOTW Jingle.
