Re: Signal Transmission and Delay
Here at WKIT in Bangor, most of our syndicated shows,
such as "Dr Demento" or "The House of Hair" is on CD,
sent to us via Fed-ex. The only show we air live via
satellite is Rockline. The delay you hear could be
just do to different equipment to pick up the signals,
or if the shows are on CD, then possibly the Boston
station started a few seconds late. Usually shows
sent on CD don't necessarly start at the exact time,
so "Rick Dees and the Weekly Top 40" could start at
9:59 on station A, and at 10:02 on station B.
