I understand a bit of those 'misappropriated' funds were used to purchase
the Buffalo Sabres whenever Rigas took control of the team.

I've listened to WGR a few times driving through Buffalo and people always
call and complain and say how Rigas has been cheap and unwilling to pay
players. I wonder how this whole mess may have affected that.
