amusing article about 90s oldies

Umm, 90s music being considered oldies?????  Did anyone read this piece by 
Joanna Weiss in today's Boston Globe, from whence I quote this little excerpt:

'...A local station, WBMX-FM ''Mix 98.5,'' has a program called ''Nineties 
at Noon.'' It has been on for a while now, 40 minutes of nostalgia for an 
era that ended two years ago. It's packed with new-oldie staples, music 
director Mike Mullaney says: vintage Alanis, early Pearl Jam, ''Groove Is 
in the Heart,'' that hit [song] by Blind Melon. The trouble is, a part of 
me likes the idea...'
