I got a quick response from WWZN on last night

morning I got a reply from the top

Kevin,
I don't disagree with your assessment.  I came to find
that the hockey 
game
was on both 850 and my station.  Someone on our side
screwed up by 
promoting
and beginning to run a game that was not ours to run. 
I stopped it as 
soon
as I realized the error.
I apologize for your inconvenience...my fault.
