None of the teams with Infinity flagships have been able to stream
through nfl.com. When Infinity teams play each other -- Giants-Patriots,
for example -- no webcast is available. Last year or the year before,
the Vikings, whose flagship is also under Mel's thumb, chafed so badly
that they set up their own webcast, with a couple of team employees
doing the commentary, that was available only through the team's Web
site. Mel didn't like it, but it wasn't radio and the Vikes said they
had the right to feed the games to the world at their own expense.

You can hear Mets games at mlb.com, Rangers and Bruins at nhl.com, and,
I'd assume any basketball teams with Infinity flagships at nba.com (for
a hefty annual fee). I'd imagine Infinity frees up feeds for those
sports because CBS has no investment in them and the webcasts wouldn't
be perceived as a potential money drain from the EXCLUSIVE (sorry,
Westwood One on my mind...) coverage of the games offered on the
listener's CBS TV affiliate.
