WMVU-AM 900 Running with Daytime Facilities Pre-sunrise.

Through the depths of winter, it appeared that every AM station around
eastern Massachusetts and Southern NH was behaving properly with
regard to pattern changes and power increases at the right time in
the morning. Oooops. WMVU-AM 900 in Nashua, now with new owners,
seems to be jumping the gun. I was trying to listen to C-Net radio
on WBPS-AM 890 befor 7:00 o'clock, but it was being buried not by
WLS, but WMVU splatter. This morning (01/28) I checked my receiver with
a relative-signal-strength meter, and WMVU signed on with daytime
strength. Then I tuned mu kitchen table radio, the one I use to listen
to LTAR, and WMVU was coming in very well; before sunrise, it's usually
a jumble along with some Canadian outlets. WMVU used to stay on with
daytime power in the evening under its former owner; maybe these guys
figure it's more profitable in morning drive.
