I don't believe there was actual litigation.  NBC simply paid off 
Nebraska Public Television for the logo once the matter was brought to 
its attention.  Then, Nebraska Public Television's art department (who 
had designed their original logo, at much less cost than NBC paid) 
designed a new logo -- a lower-case "n" in the same style.
