S'pose it's time for WRNI (1290 Providence) to update some of those
recorded announcements that run during local breaks on weekends?  Just
before 2 o'clock this afternoon I heard that "On the Media" was coming
up next and "Weekly Edition: The Best of NPR" would be along at 3.
Indeed, "On the Media" followed--but "Weekly Edition" went out of
production a few months ago; in its place today was an American
RadioWorks documentary (simulcast with WBUR-FM).
