Eddie Andleman leaves WEEI

Just tuned into WEEI to hear "the A-Team" and heard
that the show is now simply Dale Arnold's, as Dale's
co-host Eddie Andleman and 'EEI have decided to part
ways "by mutual agreement". Dale wished his partner
well and hinted Eddie may pop up "at another venue"
(WWZN? WTKK?).

There have been rumors of this before (Eddie being
wooed by WWZN; supposedly Ted Sarandis was also on
the Zone's wish list) but now it's true: Eddie is
gone from 'EEI. He was a pioneer of sports talk
radio going back some 30+ years to the start of
"the Sports Huddle" and had been heard on the 850
frequency before, when it was WHDH (also he was
on WEEI "from the beginning" when it was on 590;
I think he was also on WBZ). There's even a second
generation of Andlemans in the local media, as a
couple of his sons work on NECN's "Phantom Gourmet",
I believe.

Where's Eddie goin'?
