Yea, I agree, it was the relief pitching that really lost the game not
Buckner's error.  Not only the pitiching, but remember the 'Sox left
something like 15 men on base. However, Buckner has been blamed ever since.
It is the video clips of his error, and TV/radio play-by-play that gets
broadcast all the time. Last I heard Buckner is living in obscurity some
place out west, like Wyoming or Idaho, and coaching Little League.

I seem to remember, that in the wake of 10/25/86, talk show host Jerry
Williams went on a mini-crusade that he called 'G.R.O.B.S'. G.R.O.B.S. stood
for Get Rid Of Bob Stanley.

As far as 'EEIs programing decision for today, I probably should have tuned
out, and put on 'BUR and listened in on 'The Connection',
'Here and Now' and 'Fresh Air' right? :-)
