Re: Enco
Chuck makes excellent points. Like all computer programs, Enco does exactly
what it is programmed to do, but the programmers didn't think about things
like people voicetracking shifts before the playlist was merged with the
commercial log. At Oldies 100.9, that has not been a problem with Scott.
Another thing about Enco is that editing and refreshing the day's playlist
stops the system from doing anything else until the system has refreshed.
So if you are editing a playlist and hit refresh before a segue is going to
occur, you get a couple of seconds of dead air while the computer is
catching up. With Scott, you can, and I often do, move songs around seconds
before they are going to play and the system handles it without a problem.
