I have an old document dated about 1980 that I rescued from being weeded out of
the station's bulging files. It is a written authorization from the FCC allowing
us Then-WHOG 1570 Fernandina Beach, FL to officially use the call/COL WHOG
Fernandina Beach, [FL] Saint Marys [GA], based on our coverage intensity
calculated for that community. I don't know when this 'permission requirement' was
discontinued.
