On CNN's "Reliable Sources" tonight, Howard Kurtz reported that it is
Reuters that has the policy against using the word terrorist, not CNN.  They
quoted a Reuters official as saying one man's terrorist is another man's
freedom fighter.  Kurtz blasted them for that comment and the policy.

He also criticized CNN for having a policy of using the word "alleged"
before the name of any terrorist.  Kurtz's view was that the policy is
appropriate for any living person called in for questioning or accused of
wrong doing, but inappropriate for those identified as being on the planes.

I agree with Kurtz.
