Update on Radio & TV status in NYC....

Jack Davidson of PAX TV told a contract engineer friend of mine that PAX NY
has lost no employees. The CE of WPXN took Tuesday morning off due to some
extended work over the weekend.

It looks as if the Edison Tower in Alpine, NJ is planning on being used as a
backup along with the Empire State Building. The ESB does have adequate
tower space for antenna and transmitter installation but does not have
proper AC resources to cover the additional load. The Conde Mast is also
under very high consideration as a new permanent home for the lost FM's and
even a couple of the lost TV signals as well.
