You might be right. I always get those two mixed up because UPN 35 in
Portland carries both UPN and WB programming.
Now that you mention it, isn't WB the one with "Dawson's Creek" and 7th
Heaven? And they had Buffy before the show switched to UPN.
Another thing that is funny about this move is that the people that operate
WPXT also operate UPN 35, which currently carries the WB as a secondary
network. I doubt WB programming on UPN 35 was getting better ratings than
Fox 51. There has got to be more to this story.
I also going to miss Allie McBeal if my local cable company doesn't make
some accommodation for Fox. This is terrible news. No Homer Simpson. No
Hank Hill. No NFC Football. This is nuts. Fox has got to have a station
in Maine. Is there anyone who could pick them up?
