RE: Bangor Top-40 stations (Was: Kiss 108 is heading west)
As my family was vacationing in the Bar Harbor area, I listened for the
first few days to "B97".. then when "The all new, all hit B 97.1" came up,
your station sounded much more modern, and much better than it had before. I
really enjoyed the station more with the new sounds, and new nickname. It
sounded more like the stations down here.

Adam,
so, you liked the new liners and new station name that we are using at
WWBX? Good deal! Was having a few troubles getting used to saying that for
the first few days of the switchover. "Bangor's continuous hit music
station" flowed so much easier than "The all new all hit B97.1"
Where are you from?

Regarding what Jeremy said.. my family recently vacationed in listening
range of all stations in the Bangor market (Bar Harbor).. and the top-40
stations are better than most. from when we left until the time we got back,
i noticed Kiss 108 is playing a little more rhythmic music.
Up in Bangor, they do incorporate a lot of rock into the mix... WBZN (Z107)
is more of an adult-based radio station... kind of like Mix 98.5. WWBX (B
97) is my kind of radio station, a teenybopper station that plays hits like
Kiss.
Also, while up there, WWBX changed from B97 to "The All New, All Hit, B
97.1".. with more modern sounding people... Much improved..
