RE: David Lawrence to Do Show for CNET: Boston Mentioned
For the past year or so David Lawrence has been on WBNW [1120] week nights
from 10pm to 1am. About two weeks ago or so they dropped his show, in favor
of some non-descript syndicated sports talk. Lawrence was quite entertaining
IMHO, and was practically the only thnig I listened to on that station.
Yup WBT 1110 in Charlotte, carried the Lawrence program on weekends.

Subject: David Lawrence to Do Show for CNET: Boston Mentioned
A former DJ named David Lawrence does a talk show
about the internet on a network of 50K blowtorches
late Saturday night, RRONLINE.COM reports that he will soon add a morning
show for CNET and that one of the markets to pick up his show with be
Baja-East Boston.
Let's speculate: what outlet could POSSIBLY be the one?
AM 1060 in a new guise, new call letters perhaps?
Or is the whole thing bogus?
(By the way, WBT-AM 1110 in Charlotte is one of the
stations on which I have picked up his show, and it's
how I determined that WNNW-AM 1110 in Salem, NH was
broadcasting an unmodulated carrier at night.)
