Connecticut's "new country station"

Trumpeted by WWYZ for weeks, Connecticut's "new country station" was
revealed at 3:07 this afternoon. It's ... a gas station. A Food Bag
convenience store and gas station in Berlin, Conn., where the air staff
and a couple of no-name "hot new country" stars, fresh off their first
and only hits -- but for this month the darlings of Clear Channel's
country consultants -- will pump gas (full price) for a whopping four
hours.

Geez. It's not being suckered by a promo that has me steaming. It's
being suckered by a really lame one. Oh, well ...
