Enhanced AM

How about those car reverb boxes that turned a flat, one-speaker AM Radio
into a 3D-stereo echo chamber!  It appeared that the sound was channeled
through a physical spring to get the effect.  When you touched the spring,
no more reverb.  I had taken one and connected it to a mic. and patched it
through my CB.  (What a 70's geek!)
