I've always found WOLD, like most Harry Chapin songs, very depressing.

The best song about working in radio that I ever heard was a song called
"County DJ."  I forget who sang it.  I think it came out in the late 1960's.
I remember playing it at "Hit Country" 93.9 WAYU in Lewiston in 1986 and
thinking that the song perfectly described what it was like to work at a
small-time country radio station.

Does anyone remember who did the song?
