IMHO, the Globe's story on this was pretty biased today. All the quotes they got were from people complaining about the switch. You know, there were some people who were thrilled as well. I was not expecting them to extol about the great virtues of NESN's addition, but a little more balance from the people they interviewed would have been nice.

The way I look at it is this: There are many basic networks which Cablevision (RIP) carries in Boston in which I have no interest, such as Bravo, the Travel Channel, BET, Toon Disney, etc., and I'm not complaining about it. I would imagine AT&T pays these programmers combined just as much (if not more) than it pays for NESN's fees. It all evens out in the end.
